The Organizer of the SHP Congress is Lodz Branch of the Society, and the main topic is longevity.
We always would like to be young, healthy, happy and rich. This is, unfortunately, only a worthy wish. We are not special creatures on the Earth and, like all which lives, grow old. Due to different causes people do not live long. Longevity is associated with a very small part of human population. Aging is associated with different limitations and disorders. Is a longevity a blessing? Or maybe a curse? A lot of tales finish with "and live happily ever after". Is such a scenario really possible?
